Epoxy powder coating is a means to treat steel such that it resists rusting. However, over extended periods or if allowed to contact with water routinely, the rusting will occur faster. Powder coating comes in maroon or white which is easier to maintain by painting over when the coating is worn off or if rustong is seen. For rusted parts, we recommend sanding down the part till the rust is gone and painting over with several coats.
